The secrets of the ‘nude make-up’ that Úrsula Corberó combines with all her looks in Paris

Ursula Corberó has become a true international star . The actress has arrived at the parades in Paris surrounded by a cloud of photographers and many fans who shouted her name and did not stop asking for photos. The Catalan actress has treated them with the best of her smiles , showing how happy she is to be able to return to the French capital to experience Fashion Week in the first person. Úrsula is going to wear different outfits during the next few hours , that’s why her head makeup artist, Iván Gómez, has created a makeup for her that combines with everything about her. In HELLO! We have contacted the renowned makeup artist to tell us all the secrets of thisbeauty look that not only highlights natural beauty, but also combines with any style .

– What is the so-called ‘nude make up’?
It basically consists of getting a make-up that enhances the skin, the look and the lips without there being evidence of the make-up as such. It is achieved by integrating the natural colors of the person with the makeup, so that everything is left with an effect of absolute integration in terms of colors and you reinforce all the areas of the face without there being that evidence of the makeup itself.

– What is the key to make it perfect?
Find that chromatic harmony, that is, find the colors that merge with the person’s skin (which enhance and favor) as well as with the styling. In this way, that natural chromatic harmony is achieved and the appearance generates a certain naturalness; Although it is a very complete and elaborate makeup, you do not have the feeling of that load of makeup.

– Is it important to have beautiful skin to achieve this result?
Of course. But it is true that I believe that my hallmark is not to overload the skin with product, so I work hard on moisturizing and preparing the skin. So afterwards I don’t have to use very covering foundations. In this case, I used a very light foundation and because of that it has that translucent skin look.

– Why did you choose this type of makeup?
We are in Paris Fashion Week and she is going to have many changes of look from show to show, she has different commitments… so I wanted a wild makeup that would fit in with all the outfits. We could say that this is the star makeup, which favors, enhances, maintains that natural look and we can fit it with any style.

– Do you think that this season the trend is ‘less is more’?
No, just the opposite. I think that this season we return to more artistic, freer makeup… but on this occasion, circumstances asked me for this more neutral makeup, to give prominence to the outfits.

– It also has a very subtle smokiness, could you tell us how to make it so integrated and beautiful?
Basically putting on a brew. It is essential in the mobile eyelid, especially when you have it very small, since folds can be generated when you blink. To avoid this, you put on a primer and then you use a specific brush and deposit, little by little, a very small amount of product so that this crease is not generated and it integrates perfectly with the skin. I insist again on the choice of tones. It is basic so that this blurring is completely integrated. In her case, as her skin is golden and they are neutral tones, there is an absolute integration.

– You have also used highlighter, in what areas do you usually put it?
Of course, the illuminator is very important in this type of makeup because, as there are no predominant colors, we have to play with the volumes giving touches of light. As a final touch, I recommend using a cream or balm highlighter so that it does not mark the lines of expression. I apply it to the upper area of the cheekbone, a little on the nose and on the Cupid’s Bow (above the lip).

– In the photos you can see the lips outlined on the outside with a darker tone, what do you get with that?
To give a touch of life to the face, both in the blush and in the lip I have used a more pinkish tone within the nude range . I subtly outline the outside and then fill in with a neutral lip to get that more defined and sophisticated lip effect.

– She has completed the makeup with a high updo. It seems that she continues with that elegant lady line that you told us about a few months ago
It is not that we follow a lady line , it is that what we have done is to adapt it to the looks that she is going to wear. We wanted the outfits to stand out a lot, so we made a high and casual updo that works a lot on Úrsula. In addition, they are all day events and that texture seemed appropriate to us, it seems that she has done it herself with that effortless finish . Together with the makeup, she enhances her beauty while maintaining that natural and carefree touch.
