Hailey Bieber taken to hospital after suffering “stroke-like symptoms”
The model assured concerned fans that she is now home and ‘doing well’
Hailey Bieber revealed in an Instagram post that she was recently rushed to the hospital after suffering “stroke like symptoms”.
The 25-year-old model and wife to singer Justin Bieber shared the news in a recent social media post explaining that she was suddenly rushed to hospital after an incident that occurred during breakfast with her husband.
Upon arrival, she was treated for a “very small” blood clot on her brain however she quickly confirmed to her concerned fans that she was now home and “doing well”.
Posting on Instagram stories, the model explained:
“On Thursday morning (March 10), I was sitting at breakfast with my husband when I started having stroke-like symptoms and was taken to the hospital.
“They found I had suffered a very small blood clot to my brain, which caused a small lack of oxygen, but my body had passed it on its own and I recovered completely within a few hours.
“Although this was definitely one of the scariest moments I’ve ever been through, I’m home now and doing well, and I’m so grateful and thankful to all the amazing doctors and nurses who took care of me!”
After rushing to a hospital in Palm Springs, Bieber was discharged soon afterwards – but it is not currently known what caused her sudden illness.
Alongside an outpouring of kind words from fans and followers, her hubby also shared his support – posting an image of his wife to his feed alongside the caption “Can’t keep this one down” and a string of colourful emojis.
The pair have been married since 2018 and even tied the knot a second time in a follow-up ceremony a year later in 2019.
This recent peek into the Biebers’ private life was rare, with Hailey revealing last month that she would no longer talk about her relationship with Justin publicly or do any more interviews that focus on her marriage.
“It doesn’t feel worth it to me anymore when I try to have an open conversation with someone like you and then it gets taken out of context,” she said. “The media loves to take a tiny little blurb of something for clickbait. The media has always been a disgusting thing.”
