Vanessa Hudgens stepped out in style wearing a supremely sexy black dress for her debut as host with the most for The Oscars Red Carpet Show ahead of the 94th Academy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday evening.

The 33-year-old actress ensured all eyes were on her as she rocked a silky black Michael Kors Collection gown with delicate halter straps tied back behind her shoulders to show off her Bulgari jewelry.

Vanessa will join Terrence J and fashion designer Brandon Maxwell to co-host the 90-minute affair for ABC on the red carpet leading up to Hollywood’s biggest night.

Her sparkling gown featured a plunging neckline and included cut-outs along the sides just above her hips.

The High School Musical queen rocked a towering pair of metallic silver heels with a peek of a silver stiletto peering out from the back slit of her dress. 

Hudgens let a massive emerald and diamond necklace speak for itself, which she paired with a matching set of glowing green earrings.   

Vanessa wore her dark brown hair parted down the middle and tied up tight into a high updo. 

She wore a gold Cartier bracelet and added another pop of color to her ensemble with a green emerald cocktail ring to match her ornate necklace. 

Hudgens starred in Lin-Manuel Miranda’s tick, tick…BOOM! which is nominated for two awards at this year’s show, including Best Actor (Andrew Garfield) and Best Film Editing.

Terrence J looked dapper wearing a black tux as he posed on the red carpet ahead of his hosting responsibilities. 

The former 106 & Park star looked effortlessly cool in an all-black ensemble complete with patent leather dress shoes.

he 94th annual Academy Awards ceremony returned to its regular venue of the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California after being held at Union Station last year.

In a rather bold move, the show will be hosted by a trio of stars in Regina Hall, Amy Schumer and Wanda Sykes as it has gone without a host over the last three years.

The trio have made history as it is the first time there is an all-female host line-up as they are also the first emcees since 2018.   

Netflix’s Power Of The Dog led nominations with 12 nods, including best picture, best director and recognition for all of its top actors: Benedict Cumberbatch, Kirsten Dunst, Jesse Plemons and Kodi Smit-McPhee.

Campion, a nominee for 1993′s The Piano, became the first woman to ever be nominated twice for best director.
