Amber Heard’s sister Whitney Henriquez took the stand Wednesday and testified that when she first met Depp around 2012 he was ‘bright and beautiful and lovely and kind and generous.’

Henriquez said: ‘Frankly we all fell in love with him, at first’.

She said that her sister and Depp were ‘incredibly in love,’ and that ‘to this day I have never seen my sister fall so madly for somebody.’

But if Depp was drinking or using drugs there was ‘almost always a fight.’

Henriquez said: ‘It seemed to oscillate pretty quickly. He’d be sober for a bit then fall off the wagon and it would go back and forth.’

Asked to detail the change in her sister during the relationship, Henriquez said: ‘At first Amber was Amber, she was loud, fun, funny, she laughed a lot, was this happy, bright, fun, loving thing surrounded by friends. A progression took over such a long period of time. It was like watching a slow motion gunshot.

‘She stopped sleeping, not as loud, not as gregarious.’

Heard’s weight dropped to ‘100lbs soaking wet’ and she was ’emaciated, not sleeping, she developed a heart condition, her eyes were sunken in’.

Henriquez said that Depp became controlling over Heard’s clothing and, as they had the same stylist, he was ‘essentially controlling what she wore’ to events.

Depp complained about Heard doing movies especially if they had sex scenes and was ‘vehemently against her working at all’.

Depp on drugs was ‘almost unrecognizable’ from him when he was sober, Henriquez said.

He would forbid her to have a password on her phone, or force her to have a very simple one he could memorize.

A progression took over such a long period of time. It was like watching a slow motion gunshot’

Henriquez said: ‘When he was drinking he’d get very angry and say really nasty unkind things, usually about Amber. Horrible, horrible, horrible things’.

When asked for example, she said: ‘Pardon my language, f**king cu**, f**king used up trash bag, slimy wh**e, saggy wh**e. F**king cunt was thrown out a bunch. Horrible things like that.’

One time while riding in a car with Depp and Heard, Henriquez said that she looked around and was shocked to see him holding one of his dogs out the window.

She said: ‘Johnny is holding the dog out the window. I froze, I’m scared. I knew how inebriated he was. If she (the dog) twitched she was going to go out the window.

‘He brought the dog back into the car and was just laughing this really scary, loud almost like a cackle. Then he made some joke about putting her in the microwave. That was the joke, putting her in the microwave.’

Henriquez said that she was woken up at Los Angeles penthouse – she lived in the same building as Heard and Depp – one night in March 2015.

Amber Heard finally admits to NOT honoring her promised $3.5M donation to ACLU with $7m from Johnny Depp divorce

Heard said she had found some texts between Depp and another woman and said ‘can you believe he’s cheating on me?’

Henriquez said she went to talk to Depp who said the woman was ‘meaningless’ but soon began to blame Heard, who came into the room and a fight ensued.

According to Henriquez, Depp threw a can of Red Bull and hit Debbie Lloyd, his personal nurse who was in the room.

Henriquez said: ‘Johnny runs up the stairs. I’m facing Amber, he comes up behind me, strikes me in the back. I hear Amber shout don’t hit my f****** sister.

‘She smacks him, lands one. That’s when Travis (Depp’s security guard) runs up the stairs

‘Johnny had already grabbed Amber by the hair with one hand and was whacking her with the other’.

Depp was saying ‘you f****** whores’ and ‘f****** c***’ before going into Heard’s closet which he ‘completely destroyed.’

Henriquez said that after that incident Depp left a non disclosure agreement on her kitchen table – an agreement not to speak publicly about what happened

The court was shown photos of the aftermath of a March 2015 argument where Heard allegedly punched Depp,  including a clothing rack thrown down the stairs, shoe racks pushed over and broken glass in the kitchen.

Henriquez said that after that incident Depp left a non disclosure agreement on her kitchen table – an agreement not to speak publicly about what happened.

She refused to do so and soon after Depp accused her of selling stories to the media and she moved out.

Henriquez said that over dinner at her sister’s 30th birthday in the penthouse, Depp shocked her closest friends with an anecdote.

She said: ‘Johnny showed up very, very late and he was drunk when he showed. We all went around the table and said our favorite things about Amber, funny memories.

‘For Johnny’s turn he told this story about how they first met for the Rum Diary.

‘This story about how she came in, sat on the couch, her perfect a** left a perfect imprint on the couch and he wouldn’t let anyone sit there that day. Everyone was kind of embarrassed.’

Henriquez said that the statements by Depp’s former lawyer Adam Waldman during 2020 that her claims were a ‘hoax’ left her ‘devastated’.

She said: ‘We’d just buried our mother. Amber started having panic attacks randomly, she was not sleeping. She periodically broke into tears. She was super anxious, she couldn’t relax, she couldn’t sit still.

‘It launched her back into this space where she was so physically unwell. She cried a lot.’

Under cross examination Henriquez said she did joke with Depp about him hitting Heard but that was only because she didn’t know about the physical violence by that point.

She said: ‘I would never have said that knowing what I know now.’

Amber Heard breaks down on the stand as she claims Johnny Depp sexually assaulted her with a liquor bottle in Australia just…

Henriquez said that Depp and Heard had a nickname for her as she was involved in their fights so much: ‘Marriage counselor.’

Melanie Inglessias, Amber Heard’s makeup artist, talked about how she covered up her bruises for an appearance on the James Corden show on Dec. 16, 2015.

Inglessias said Heard had two bruises on her eyes where it ‘looked like somebody headbutted her lightly.’

Heard showed her and her hairdresser the ‘hole’ where the hair was missing from her head.

She said: ‘I did makeup but a little heavier. We covered the discoloration (from the) bruises with slightly heavier concealer, with a peach undertone. Peach cancels blue.

‘I did that under the eyes.

‘Amber always had red lipstick – it was her signature look – I remember we had no other option than to use a red blood, really red lipstick to cover up the injuries on her lip.’

Amber Heard’s former best friend Rocky Pennington gave testimony via pre-taped video deposition
Pennington wiped the tears from her eyes as she walked through photos of Heard’s injuries including her swollen nose, her bloody lip and her bruised eyes

Heard’s former best friend Rocky Pennington gave testimony via pre-taped video deposition and spoke about seeing the actress’ injuries.

Pennington was questioned on an incident in December 2015 when Heard claims that Depp headbutted her and repeatedly punched her in the head so hard that the bed frame she was lying on broke. Heard also alleged that Depp dragged her by her hair and pulled chunks out.

Pennington said that in the aftermath she saw blood in Heard’s hair and a chunk of it had been ‘ripped out.’

She said: ‘It wasn’t dripping down her head but it was raw and red.’

Asked by one of Depp’s lawyers how she could tell that Heard’s hair had been ripped out, Pennington gave an exasperated smile. She said: ‘There was a bloody patch with hair missing.’

Pennington said that Heard’s ‘whole face’ was red and that the upper bridge of her nose was swollen – she conceded the redness could have been from crying. Heard also had a cut to her bottom lip.

Pennington said: ‘There were many times I saw injuries on her.’

The following day Heard was due to go on the James Corden TV show and Pennington said that she was there when Heard showed her injuries to her makeup artist and stylist who had to cover them up.

Pennington rejected the idea that Heard or her makeup team could have drawn on bruises to her face.

She said: ‘Because I saw injuries on her body from the time directly after they happened, the next day and as they continued to heal.’

Heard’s lawyer Benjamin Rotternborn asked: ‘Have you ever known Miss Heard to paint on bruises or use makeup to make it seem like she had a bruise when she didn’t?’

Pennington said: ‘No, the opposite. She often had to cover bruises and injuries on her face with makeup.’

Heard also alleged that Depp dragged her by her hair and pulled chunks out during a 2015 bust up the night before her appearance on James Corden

The court was shown photos of Heard with visible bruises on her face

Pennington wiped the tears from her eyes as she walked through photos of Heard’s injuries including her swollen nose, her bloody lip and her bruised eyes.

Another photo showed Pennington holding back Heard’s hair line so they could see the damage to it.

Other photos showed Heard’s ‘hair pulled back to show abrasion on the scalp where hair has been removed,’ Pennington said.

Heard’s lawyer Benjamin Rotternborn said: ‘I’m sorry this is so hard Miss Pennington, we just need to get through it.’

Heard herself began to cry too and was handed tissues by her lawyers to wipe her eyes.

Pennington said: ‘She was very upset, her face was red, swollen. The hair had been ripped out of her head. I don’t think I even slept that night, just watching her to make sure she didn’t….’

Rottenborn asked: ‘You were worried she had a concussion?’

That was correct, responded Pennington.

The court was shown photos of clumps of hair around the penthouses and Pennington confirmed they were Heard’s.

Asked if she had ever known Heard to pull her own hair out, Pennington said no.

Pennington said that Depp came over to talk with Heard at her penthouse in Los Angeles even though Pennington thought it was a ‘really bad idea.’

At some point Heard texted Pennington to come over and she could hear Depp yelling.

As Pennignton entered the apartment, Heard was ‘calling for help and that never happened before, saying help me, help me.’

Pennington said: ‘I went up to him. I put my hands up on his chest and said stop, just stop.

‘He hit my hands away and so I went straight over to Amber. She sat down on the couch. I just put my body over her.

‘He came closer to us and was yelling at her to get up, quit crying or get up. It was really loud and he was getting closer and closer.

‘There was this big orange ceramic ashtray on the coffee table and I was thinking if he gets any closer I’m going to pick up that ashtray and hit him with it. He was so close over us. At that point (Depp’s security) came in and were like boss, boss, come on, let’s get out of here.’

Depp stormed off, smashing things with a large bottle of wine in his hand.

The jury were shown photos of broken glass, a broken lampshade and other damage that Depp supposedly caused.

Pennington said she feared Depp would harm Heard and said his mood was ‘irate’.

She said that Depp kept screaming at Heard to ‘get the f**k up!’

Pennington said that she saw Heard after she got back from Australia in March 2015 after the ‘three day hostage situation’ where Depp’s fingertip got sliced off. Pennington said: ‘She (Heard) had these deep cuts on the back of her forearms. They were very very deep long cuts on the backs of her forearms’

Pennington said: ‘She (Heard) had these deep cuts on the back of her forearms. They were very very deep long cuts on the backs of her forearms.’

She was asked about a Thanksgiving 2015 dinner at Depp and Heard’s penthouse in Los Angeles.

The court has previously heard that among the guests was Depp’s son Jack and rocker Marilyn Manson.

Heard claimed she and Depp got into an argument in their bedroom and that he threw a glass decanter at her which smashed everywhere.

Pennington said that she went to the bedroom to check on the couple and saw that a full bottle of wine had hit a piece of art that ‘Amber really loved’ and broken it.

She said: ‘There’s also plenty of glasses around with wine in them that could have been part of that. There was glass everywhere.’

Pennington said that Depp was ‘acting as if nothing happened.’

She said: ‘I couldn’t tell what he was feeling. I didn’t know what was going on.’

Pennington was asked if Heard ever said that she would ‘gain financially’ from going public about her final row with Depp in May 2016.

She said no.

Pennington was shown a photo of Heard in court while getting her restraining order in May 2016.

She said she took it and it showed Heard looking like a ‘skeleton’ with a bruise on her cheekbone.

Rottenborn said: ‘Is there any truth to the allegation that Amber did this because she’s a ‘gold digger?’

Pennington said: ‘No.’

Depp’s former lawyer Adam Waldman has claimed that Heard and her friends staged the damage they claim that Depp caused.

Rotternborn asked Pennington if she ‘staged the crime scene to prove abuse allegations against Johnny Depp?’

She said no.

Asked if she staged anything that night, Pennington said no.

Josh Drew, a former friend of Heard’s said that one of the officers said they had enough evidence to ‘go pick him up’, referring to Depp

One of the police officers who attended Johnny Depp’s final fight with Amber Heard said there was enough evidence to arrest him, the trial heard.

Josh Drew, a former friend of Heard’s said that one of the officers said they had enough evidence to ‘go pick him up’, referring to Depp.

Drew is the ex-husband of Heard’s former best friend Rocky Pennington.

He told the court that on May 21, 2016 after Depp and Heard had a violent argument there was a ‘gigantic wine stain in the hallway’ which he showed to police who attended.

There was a dent in the door ‘shaped like a bottle of wine’ that he showed the cops, Drew said.

He also showed them broken glass and smashed jewelry.

One of the officers, a woman, went to speak to Heard on her own while the male officer spoke with Drew.

He told the court that the cop told him that there was ‘damage in these apartments, her face is red’, referring to Head.

The cop supposedly said they had enough evidence to ‘go pick him up’, referring to Depp.

Drew’s testimony contradicts with the two officers who earlier gave evidence and said that they didn’t see any damage or injuries to Heard’s face.

According to Drew, Heard ‘was damn near catatonic’ after the fight with Depp.

One of Heard’s lawyers told Drew that she ‘hates to go back to the poop incident’, referring to the excrement found in Depp and Heard’s bed in April 2016.

Heard has denied that she had any part in it – Depp’s chauffeur claimed she told him it was a ‘prank’.

Drew said that he observed ‘in perpetuity’ poop or dog pee in the apartment.

He said it was ‘pretty much constant’ and that he had ‘cleaned up my fair share of it’

Drew confirmed that Depp and Heard’s dogs – two Yorkshire terriers called Boo and Pistol – were not trained at all.

He said: ‘At some point there was pee and poop on everything, couches, sofas, the bed, you name it’.

Drew later said that one of the dogs was too small to climb up the stairs of the apartment or get onto the bed, but the other could.
