“You have a better shot of me and MGK getting eaten by crocodiles”

Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian have cemented their status as a couple, but at one point, Megan Fox apparently didn’t think the relationship would happen.

In the newest episode of Hulu’s The Kardashians, Kim revealed how her relationship with the Saturday Night Live comedian got its start. We’ll dive into the details of that in a second, but according to Kim, Megan had texted her when news of the relationship first broke. “After we got together and it was a thing, Megan texted me and is like, ‘Is this sh*t for real? Because he asked me for your number months ago,’” Kim shared.

She continued, saying that Megan had told Pete, “Dude, you have a better shot of me and MGK getting eaten by crocodiles than you do ever getting her number. Never gonna happen. Do not ask us.”

In an effort to get Kim’s number, Pete did manage to escape any crocodiles. Kim said that after sharing a kiss with the comedian in a SNL skit, she felt “a vibe.” She hoped to connect with Pete at the SNL after-party, but he didn’t attend. Kim took matters into her hands, saying, “A few days later, I called the producer at SNL, and I was like, ‘Hey, do you have Pete’s number?’ And they were like, ‘Yeah.’ And thus, a relationship was started.

The great Kim and Pete whirlwind of romance started back in October. The pair celebrated Halloween by riding a roller coaster together, and at the time, they said their reported hand holding was a signal of their friendship. Sure.

Fast forward to a few months later and the couple is basically the talk of Hollywood. Along with multiple joint red carpet appearances, the two have gotten matching platinum blonde dye jobs and stage subtle tributes to one another with their chosen glam. The two are now reportedly talking of moving in together. Ah, romance!
