Wearing a strapless black minidress with diamond-like highlights, Beckinsale rocked black spiked heels and a similarly spiky headpiece, with thick metallic points extending from a halo band, like a trippy Statue of Liberty. The post met with the approval of celebrities like Paris Hilton and Gabriela Gonzalez, who both responded with love emojis. Beckinsale mentioned in the post that she was on the road to “true love,” although she didn’t elaborate as to what that meant. If there’s a new man in her life, she’s keeping mum for now.
The picture was actually taken over the weekend, when Kate attended the after party honoring Sean Diddy Combs, who was presented with the BET Lifetime Achievement Award earlier that evening at the annual BET Awards in Los Angeles, according to the UK Express. In an Instagram story, Kate Beckinsale apologized to party attendees “whose eye I nearly poked out or hair I became momentarily attached to last night,” in reference to her outrageous headpiece. With her in the picture is Gabriella Claire Morpeth, a costume designer and friend, who recently served as set costumer on her film Jolt, now streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
The 48-year-old often blesses her 5 million-plus Instagram followers with sexy pictures, as she shows off her unique fashion sense before a night on the town. Other times, she’s posting pictures from inside her home, where she likes to show off her casual look. Her films often reflect her sense of style, as well as her killer looks, with the Underworld vampire movies a prime example. The London native credits yoga for keeping her fit but not too muscular, with an age-defying body that is the envy of most women. Just two weeks ago, Kate Beckinsale posted a yoga video in which she pulls off some impressive stances, all while wearing white yoga pants and a blue top from sports apparel brand Bo + Tee.
Rumors circulated after the Academy Awards when Aquaman huimself, Jason Momoa, was spotted giving her his jacket outside of an Oscars after party. However, Momoa shot down those rumors, saying they were merely discussing her home country of England (where he is filming Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom) and offered his jacket because of the cold night. Since splitting with her ex-husband Len Wiseman, who wrote and directed her Underworld movies, Kate Beckinsale has been linked to Machine Gun Kelly (who has since hooked up with Megan Fox), Pete Davidson (who has since hooked up with Kim Kardashian) and musician Goody Grace, at least until they reportedly broke up in late 2020.
