Sofia Vergara might have come onto the superstar scene a little later than most other actresses who’ve entered this rarified air, but she’s making the most of her time here for sure. Becoming the highest-paid television actress of all time was a nice start, and she’s now set to star in some pretty cool projects in the next couple of years. Plus, she has an active Instagram account that does a nice job of highlighting the fashion sense and beauty of this superstar. There’s a reason she gets considerable traction on the social media platform, posting both up-to-date shots and some throwbacks as well.
Recently, Sofia Vergara took to Instagram to promote another one of her gigs and she did so with a pic of her wearing a low-cut red dress. Fans had no problem ringing in their approval for the style choice as well as the picture in general. The shot is from her hosting duties on America’s Got Talent where she’s been on the panel for three seasons. The Instagram post was originally meant to highlight that the show was back and auditioning on the East Coast, a chance for fans to take part in the festivities or just get on the program themselves. Recently, she had a number of shots from her 50th birthday party that had her wearing a stunning yellow dress while being surrounded by friends and family for the big day.
And then there was the 4th of July hijinks that saw Sofia Vergara in a pool trying to get on an inflatable toy which caused her to take a premature dip. These posts saw massive engagement with the video garnering more than 5.6 million likes on social media. All in a day’s work for Vergara who seems to totally understand the power of social media in this respect.
As far as future projects are concerned, Sofia Vergara will be returning to America’s Got Talent in the fall, so fans will be able to see her there once again. But she’s also got a series lined up that will take things in a slightly different acting direction. That will come on Netflix with the series Griselda, a biopic about one of the most ruthless figures we’ve seen in some time. She will play Griselda Blanco, also known as the White Widow, one of the most powerful drug traffickers in the Miami region. Filming for the series began earlier this year.
