As the Strictly Come Dancing 2022 line-up is announced, last year’s winner Rose Ayling-Ellis has just unveiled a fresh blonde makeover that fans are gushing over

Strictly Come Dancing season is very nearly upon us, with this year’s line-up gradually being announced on social media as we speak. But right now we’re actually turning our attention to 2021’s winner Rose Ayling-Ellis, who is now blonder than ever after a trip to the hair salon.

The 27 year old recently visited Soho’s Salon64 for a cut, colour and blow dry with founder Ricky Walters and colorist Bart Cacciapaglia, and left sporting an even lighter multidimensional, expensive-looking blonde shade.

“@rose.a.e HAS NEW HAIR!!! Cut and blow dry by me and a STUNNING NEW COLOUR by colour genius @hair_by_bart,” Ricky captioned an Instagram Reel showing off the results, in which Rose’s freshly-dyed hair has been blow dried to perfection in loose, bouncy waves with a dazzling shine.

The star’s glossy hair transformation clearly caught the attention of several fans too, who took to the comments section of the video to shower the actress with compliments following her makeover.

“That is Fab-u-lous,” one wrote in reference to Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood’s catch phrase, as another agreed, “Totally love this colour and style of hair on Rose. It really suits her.”

Meanwhile a third fan chimed in with, “Well done Ricky. Rose looks stunning,” as a fourth sounded off with, “Fabulous. Wow to the colour”.

Blonde is never exactly off-trend, but it’s certainly felt as though there’s been something in the water in recent weeks, as several celebs have taken the plunge and coloured their hair much lighter.

Actress Lily James now looks a lot more like her Mamma Mia 2 character Young Donna, after she ditched her warm brunette hair and went back to her once-signature blonde look.

Meanwhile Loose Women panellist Stacey Solomon recently revealed that she’d dyed her fiery red hair blonde, ahead of her wedding to longtime partner Joe Swash. We love a pre-wedding makeover!
