Brie Larson has not appeared in many films (or mysteriously related Disney+ series) in the last few years, but that most likely has to do with exactly how much we are going to see of her in the next year. Not content with being one of the new tentpole characters of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Brie Larson is joining the world of the Fast and Furious in 2023 (apparently a dream come true for the longtime fan of the franchise. But before she does that, it seems Brie Larson is going on elaborate jewelry shopping expeditions. See for yourself:
In this picture posted to the official Instagram account of Brie Larson, the Room actress is posed in a side profile with a dramatic look on her face. The amount of jewelry she has affixed to her left ear is nothing short of ridiculous, however; although it is difficult to tell exactly how many silver earrings Brie Larson is wearing in a single ear in the photo, it has to be in the double digits. The majority of the earrings are plain bands (if very shiny), but the very lowest in her earlobe is pretty impressive just by itself. That particular earring has a heavy-looking dangling iridescent white stone.
The caption to Brie Larson’s piece reads “Don’t ask me if my ear was sore for the next week because the answer is yes” followed by a laughing face emoji. Regardless of what exactly the actress was trying these earrings on for (or if she actually has her ear pierced that many times), it probably is a whole lot of weight for a single ear.
Brie Larson is set to star in the upcoming film The Marvels, alongside Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan (aka Ms. Marvel) and Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau. Naturally, her old buddy from Captain Marvel, Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson, as always) will also be showing up in some capacity. There are few details of the plot of The Marvels (which will be the 33rd movie of the Marvel Cinematic Universe) available as of yet, but it feels likely that it will have something to do with the more cosmic and space-based aspects of the MCU yet.
There has also been no confirmation that Brie Larson (or the other members of the Marvels) will be showing up in the Disney+ series Secret Invasion, but it feels very likely. Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel has long been associated with the Kree and Skrull conflict of Marvel Comics, so it would be pretty strange for there to be an entire story about the latter taking the place of superheroes all around the world and her not to show up.
Along with The Marvels, Brie Larson will be appearing in the upcoming Fast X alongside Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Charlize Theron, and all the rest of the various fast and furious individuals. Other new additions to the cast include Jason Momoa, Daniela Melchior, and Alan Ritchson.
