Alexandra Daddario has long been a favorite of ours around here. While graduating from child star status to full-blown burgeoning superstar, she has managed to become a number of things: Percy Jackson alumnus. Frequent Dwayne Johnson co-star. New Girl recurring character. Fashion icon. It is in that last capacity that we discuss her today, aided by her very active and popular social media presence. Long story short, check out Alexandra Daddario chilling out by the side of a pool while wearing a white swimsuit:

The Baywatch star is seated on a wide pool recliner in what looks very much like the same villa she posted pictures from a month ago, conked out for a snooze. This time around, Alexandra Daddario appears to be very much awake and scratching the head of her loyal rescue dog Eunice, who gets a shout-out in the caption. Alexandra Daddario is surrounded by a lush wall of foliage, making this look like a very idyll little spot for a film and television star and her pup to be hanging out.
The second picture of Alexandra Daddario shows both her and Eunice leaning forward toward the camera with wide smiles on their faces, which lends further support to the idea that resting with your canine companion by a gloriously blue swimming pool is pretty nice. While the former (but still supportive) star of the Percy Jackson franchise looks like she is just relaxing in these particular pictures, she is also known to use Instagram for much more daring looks. In particular, we have been fond of her classic Hollywood-inspired look at the For Your Consideration Primetime Emmys party, not to mention her ability to rock a skin-tight mini-dress.
Alexandra Daddario will soon be starring in Wildflower, a coming-of-age story about a girl juggling the pressures of her family, an intellectually-disabled parent, and all the stresses in between. The film will feature Mad Men and The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina star Kiernan Shipka, along with legendary actress Jean Smart. The movie will be directed (and story by) Matt Smuckler, with the screenplay written by Jana Savage. Alexandra Daddario recently posted a picture of the whole cast hanging out together, so hopefully, we will be seeing Wildflower coming out of post-production sometime soon.
Alexandra Daddario will also be the lead of the upcoming AMC supernatural drama, Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches. She will portray Rowan Fielding, a San Francisco-based neurosurgeon drawn into a mysterious dark world of intrigue and magic in New Orleans (or at least more so than you would normally expect to find in New Orleans). The series is based on a series of books by the late gothic fantasy writer Anne Rice, who largely set her work in her home of New Orleans. The series is arriving alongside the AMC series Interview with the Vampire, which is based on Anne Rice’s most famous work. Until we see her as one of the witches of Mayfair, let’s hope Alexandra Daddario can get some relaxation time with Eunice.
