Most recently, before sitting down for Thanksgiving dinner with her family, Lacey had a glam moment when she stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in late November. The 40-year-old actress caught up with self-professed Hallmark fan Jimmy Fallon about her latest projects, including her new Christmas movie Haul Out the Holly and the TV film franchise The Wedding Veil.

While inviting Jimmy to star in a Hallmark movie and talking about The Wedding Veil movies, fans couldn’t help but notice Lacey’s gorgeous evening look.

The Mean Girls alum wore a black velvet midi dress featuring a high neck and metallic stitching. Lacey accessorized the form-fitting ensemble with black heels and minimal jewelry. Though viewers only caught glimpses of the outfit on TV, photos from the event landed on Instagram and fans wasted no time sharing their thoughts in the comments section.

As for her exciting update about The Wedding Veil, the trilogy isn’t over just yet. After teasing that there were three more installments on the way, Entertainment Tonight broke the news that Hallmark viewers won’t have to wait too long for the new additions.

According to the outlet, the franchise will pick up with a fourth movie titled The Wedding Veil Expectations, premiering on January 7. The follow-up will feature Lacey and When Calls the Heart‘s Kevin McGarry front and center. Fellow co-stars Autumn Reeser and Ali Sweeney will star in the next two flicks — The Wedding Veil Inspiration and The Wedding Veil Journey, respectively.

So, if you’re not looking forward to the end of Hallmark’s “Countdown to Christmas,” Lacey will be bringing more cheer in the new year.
