Kehlani claims they were sexually assaulted during UK concert

Singer Kehlani claims an audience member at their UK show on Monday “touched my genitals” as they were being escorted through a crowd.

“i’ve made video after video after video and deleted it because i don’t want any video of me as angry, triggered, crying upset as i am anywhere,” they wrote in a since-deleted Instagram Story, per HipHopDX.

The 27-year-old “You Should Be Here” singer — who was performing at O2 Victoria Warehouse in Manchester, England — added, “i don’t care how sexual you deem my music, my performances, my fun with my friends dancing at clubs, or ME….

“that does not give any of you the right to cross a boundary like sticking your hands up my skirt & pulling my underwear to TOUCH TO MY GENITALS as i am being escorted through a crowd after performing.”

Kehlani said they were sexually assaulted as they were escorted through a crowd following their performance in the UK.

They added that the assault made them “sick to [their] stomach.”

“as a victim of sexual assault, i am endlessly triggered and mindblown,” they concluded.

After screenshots of their message circulated on social media, fans sent their love and support to the Oakland-born musician.

The singer had a concert at O2 Victoria Warehouse in Manchester, England on Dec. 12.

“my heart hurts for kehlani.. y’all know damn well y’all do NOT have that access to her!!! it’s disrespectful and disgusting,” one fan tweeted.

“This is so vile. it doesn’t matter if their music is sexual or not it doesn’t give u the right to invade their personal boundaries. sending love to kehlani :(,” wrote another.

They have since deleted their Instagram post about the alleged assault.

A third person added, “Ppl are so sick man that s–t that happened to Kehlani is very heart breaking man. She is such a light man and y’all really don’t deserve ppl like that.”

Days after the incident occurred, Kehlani gave fans an update on how they were doing.

Kehlani said certain boundaries should not be crossed, no matter “how sexual you deem” their performances and music.

“Hey guys. I just wanted to come on here and say thank you to everybody who has checked in on me or supported me in any way during the last couple of days,” the “Nights Like This” singer shared in a TikTok video on Wednesday. “I’m home, I’m good with family.”

Kehlani added that they did not share what happened for “any sort of press,” adding that they wanted to put it out there to “set a proper boundary” with their fanbase.

Fans sent Kehlani love and support on Twitter.

“I set that boundary so that you guys could know how to please just respect me as a human, me as an individual,” they continued.

Kehlani concluded her message by thanking “those who care” and clarifying that they were “good.”

Kehlani has always been an avid supporter of women who have been sexually assaulted. In October, they celebrated the sentencing of “Superfly” actor Kaalan Walker, who was convicted of raping four women and three teenage girls he met on social media.

“50 YEARS TO LIFE,” the singer wrote on her Instagram Stories at the time. “I AM SO F–KING HAPPY FOR EVERYONE NOT GIVING UP!!!!!!! LOVE TO THE LADIES ON THIS CASE YALL DESERVE IT ALL!!!!!!”
