Netflix releases VERY raunchy first trailer for second season of hit erotic drama series Sex/Life

Netflix has released a steamy first trailer teasing the second season of Sex/Life, which became a viral hit for the streamer in 2021, despite critics widely trashing it.

Often described as ‘the raunchiest series on Netflix,’ Sex/Life season two looks like it will be sexier than ever, with multiple trysts throughout the trailer and an endless array of sensual looks.

Based on the novel 44 Chapters About 4 Men by BB Easton, the series revolves around a mom in the suburbs who gets caught in a love triangle with an old flame and her husband.

One highlight from the first season was a full-frontal moment that saw Aussie heartthrob Adam Demos, 36, bare his sizable manhood in a shower, turning him into a sensation overnight.

Demos plays Brad Simon, the ex-boyfriend of suburban housewife Billie, who is played by Demos’s real-life girlfriend Sarah Shahi, 43, and the pair stoked fan excitement over the summer when they posted pictures from the set.

‘Not everyone has it,’ says Billie in a voiceover as lips lock in the trailer. ‘The desire to wake up, stop sleepwalking through our lives. To stop trying to do the right thing, while denying our truth.’

Tender moments between Billie and her good-guy husband Cooper (Mike Vogul) are shown while the the voice of Billie goes on to say: ‘But those of us who do, we tread in dangerous waters.’

Various snippets of sexual tension ensue, with characters giving each other sultry looks before grazing hands, kissing passionately and flinging themselves into bed.

It isn’t long before Demos is shirtless, as his famous music producer gets pushed back on a couch and crawled upon by Sarah Shahi’s seductive Billie.

Wet hair and shower scenes come next, with wanton hands stroking muscular pecks and multiple characters gasping up at the sky with euphoria.

Speaking over the darkened image of her silhouette kissing Brad, she says: ‘Because once you wake up…once you get even just a tiny taste…there’s no going back.’

Sex/Life’s second season will start streaming on March 2, steaming up Netflix with another round of soft-core drama.

Reportedly watched by 67 million households in its first four weeks of streaming, season one ended with a shocking twist.

It initially appeared as though Billie had chosen to stay with her husband and family, but then she returned to the apartment of Brad and fell into his arms.

Speaking to Refinery29 about the finale, Sarah Shahi said: ‘When [Billie] goes to Brad in those last moments and says, “Now F**ck me,” it’s not so much about him. It’s about her unleashing this part of herself that she’s been denying for so long.’

She added: ‘A lot of people go, “Is it Team Cooper? Is it Team Brad?” I’ve always been on Team Billie. I refute the notion of being able to find yourself or define yourself as a woman through a man.’

The cliffhanger of season one came when Billie declared to Brad that she would not be getting divorced, and then proposed that they should keep seeing each other regardless.

The screen faded to black before Brad could give his answer, but based on this latest trailer, it seems like he is game for their relationship to continue.

The real-life romance between the on-screen couple was confirmed in September 2021 when Adam reunited with Sarah in Los Angeles.

Speaking to the Daily Telegraph about his relationship with the former NFL cheerleader, Demos said: ‘What I will say and I am always happy to say, is that I am a lucky man and it is happy days.’

Reviews were not kind to the first season of Sex/Life, with The Guardian calling it a ‘hot and heavy shagathon’ with a plot that was ‘sparse’ and ‘almost criminally silly.’

Variety’s Daniel D’Addario wrote that Sex/Life ‘proved one thing to the viewer’s satisfaction: That it takes hard work to pull off satisfying trash.’

He goes on to write: ‘Endless shots of nude characters in intimate settings, from one-on-one sessions to a somewhat startlingly raw group sex party, are this series’ key means of communicating information…’

Despite lackluster reviews, Sex/Life titillated viewers with enough lust and eye candy that a massive fanbase soon thronged to the series at the height of Covid.

Adam’s sexy shower scene caused a frenzy, with many viewers thinking that his appendage was so large that it must’ve been a prosthetic package or the magic of editing.

On Twitter, one viewer wrote: ‘I have one thing to say GO WATCH SEX LIFE!!!! Oh sweet lord just for the shower scene #TeamBrad.’

Another thunderstruck viewer tweeted: ‘Wow they really showed EVERYTHING in that shower scene on episode 3 in Sex/Life. I’m shook.’

Sex/Life creator Stacy Rukeyser has even been questioned about the actor’s private parts, telling website Collider: ‘I can tell you what Adam Demos says about it which is, “A gentleman never tells.” So, we are leaving that up to the viewer’s imagination.’
