Since Billie (Sarah Shahi), Cooper (Mike Vogel), Brad (Adam Demos), Sasha (Margaret Odette), Francesca (Li Jun Li), Trina (Amber Goldfarb), and Devon (Jonathan Sadowski) first came on our screens (get it?!) when Sex/Life Season 1 premiered in 2021, they’ve really spiced up our Netflix watch histories. And after speeding through Season 2 of the steamy drama, which premiered on Thursday, March 2, fans will likely be wondering if this is the end for Sex/Life, or if the bold series will return with new episodes again in the future.
Curious if there will be a Sex/Life Season 3 on Netflix? Read on for everything we know about future of the series, and what a potential Season 3 might look like. Be mindful that Sex/Life Season 2 spoilers lie ahead.
Will There Be A Sex/Life Season 3 on Netflix? What We Know
As of Sex/Life‘s Season 2 premiere day, Netflix hasn’t officially renewed or canceled the series. A rep for the series told Decider that there isn’t any news regarding additional seasons yet, so hopes for a Sex/Life Season 3 aren’t fully crushed. Season 1 was certainly a popular conversation starter (especially after that Adam Demos full-frontal scene), so it will be interesting to see what Season 2 viewership is like.
Judging by episode count and the storylines that closed out Season 2, however, we can see why Season 2 may be Sex/Life‘s last. Season 1 consisted of eight episodes, while Season 2 only featured six episodes. And it’s worth noting that the majority of the series’ loose ends are tied up by the time the end credits roll on the Season 2 finale. Billie graduated and she and Brad are finally back together. Sasha and Kam are together. And Cooper and his ex even reunited! So what could a Season 3 of Sex/Life even look like? There is one Season 2 cliffhanger that could certainly be explored in new episodes…
What A Sex/Life Season 3 Could Look Like:
In the final scene of Sex/Life Season 2, Billie meets Brad at the altar to get married. But before she says “I do,” she tells him she’s pregnant! If Netflix renews the series for another season, we could follow Billie and Brad as they take that next step in their relationship. I’m sure there’s lots more sex to be had in the lives of these fictional characters, and we could always check in with Sash, Kam, Cooper, and the rest of the Sex/Life crew again. We’ll have to wait and see if Billie and Brad’s story ends with that picturesque, love-filled Season 2 scene. And if it does? We honestly wouldn’t be mad at it.
Sex/Life Season 2 is currently available to stream on Netflix.
