Sydney Sweeney recently took her sunny disposition to Italy and shared an outing with fans on social media. In a clip posted to Instagram, the actress is seen visiting a retro-looking ice cream shop where she orders two giant scoops of the sweet treat. Smiling as she leaves the store, the Euphoria star finds a quiet spot to enjoy her gelato.

Decked out in a yellow blouse and checked mini skirt by Tory Burch, Sydney Sweeney’s outfit matches the aesthetic of her ice cream. She accessorized her look with gold bangles and white pumps featuring gold details. The mini video also showcases her lime green handbag from the Manhattan-based mid-luxury fashion label.

Sydney Sweeney became a household name following her role as Eden Spencer in The Handmaid’s Tale. Although her character only appeared in the series for seven episodes in 2018, the then-21-year-old made a significant impression on the entertainment industry. Speaking to Marie Claire, she talked about her passions away from the camera, which include home remodeling, pinball, and mixed martial arts.

“I grew up remodeling houses with my parents, and I’ve started to do it again with some of my friends,” Sydney Sweeney told the publication. So it’s only natural that the actress loves watching HGTV shows like Love It or List It, Property Brothers, and Flip or Flop. She also loves using interior-decorating apps which allow users to design their dream homes.

While most Hollywood stars train in martial arts for specific roles, Sydney Sweeney does it for fun. The 25-year-old began doing mixed martial arts as a teenager. “I started when I was 14 and did my first competition at 18,” she told Marie Claire. She won first place in the grappling competition, which included guys in a weight category above her.

“Those guys were probably saying, ‘Oh, we didn’t want to hurt her,’ but they were definitely trying. Everyone broke a sweat!” she explained. But acting was always her first love, as Sydney Sweeney recalled how she convinced her parents to let her audition when a movie was being filmed in her hometown of Spokane, Washington, when she was 12 years old.

“There was no entertainment industry at all where I was raised,” she recounted. “When this movie came to town randomly, I begged my parents to let me audition. I even created a five-year business-plan presentation of what could happen in my life if I did. I ended up getting the part.” The audition was definitely worth it.

Following several minor roles in movies and television, Sydney Sweeney was cast as Cassie Howard in Euphoria and Olivia Mossbacher in The White Lotus. Since then, she has become one of the most sought-after young stars in Hollywood. Her upcoming projects include Immaculate. Billed as a horror film, the project is directed by Michael Mohan from a screenplay by Andrew Lobel.

Sydney Sweeney will also star in Americana, which is set to premiere on March 17th at the SXSW film festival. Billed as a crime thriller, the film is written and directed by Tony Tost. Paul Walter Hauser, Halsey, Eric Dane, Zahn McClarnon, Gavin Maddox Bergman, Simon Rex, Derek Hinkey, Toby Huss, and Harriet Sansom Harris also star.
