Lindsay Lohan’s ‘Falling for Christmas’ was cute. The brain injury plot wasn’t.

This is Lohan and Shammas’ first child together.

The couple’s latest adventure as parents arrives less than a year since she married the financier in July. They got engaged in November 2021.

I am the luckiest woman in the world. You found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace, all at the same time,” Lohan wrote in a tribute to her husband in July. “I am stunned that you are my husband. My life and my everything. ❤️every woman should feel like this everyday.”

Lohan’s pregnancy announcement comes as the actress has returned to acting after a hiatus.

In an interview for her November Cosmopolitan cover, Lohan said she felt like the Netflix holiday movie “Falling For Christmas” was “the right fit for me, especially to be able to executive produce it.” As an executive producer, she was involved in “the whole casting process, the editing and production process. And even parts of the script,” she said.

“It’s always fun to work on something lighthearted and family-oriented that makes people happy and provides a bit of an escape,” she added. “It comes very naturally to me to play a role, especially in a romantic comedy, so it doesn’t always feel like work.”

The actress will also star in a film called “Irish Wish,” which began filming in the fall. She teased to the outlet that her character will be “more nerdy.” It is expected to come out this year.
