Alexandra Daddario Wore the Most Surprising Backless Dress and Fans Will Be Stunned
While she’s currently not sitting by a pool in The White Lotus, Alexandra Daddario knows how to make a splash among fans in the name of fashion.
The Mayfair Witches actress did just this in mid-March while attending the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty in Los Angeles. As she walked down the blue carpet, she shocked those invited with her black Alexander Vauthier gown. From the front, the sequined dress featured puffy long sleeves and a mermaid-like skirt that went all the way to the floor. But the standout element was caught by the cameras when she turned around and showed off the gown’s backless detail.
Between the simplicity of the outfit and its V-shaped opening in the back, it made sense for Alexandra to amp up the sparkle with her accessories.
For shoes, the Baywatch alum chose a pair of strapped stiletto sandal heels. To continue with the overall glistening theme, she wore bold diamond earrings and matching rings for jewelry. Alexandra then styled her medium-length dark hair in messy waves and added a bold cat eyeliner for makeup. She completed the ensemble with a brown-toned lip color.
After posting a number of highlights on Instagram, people refused to stop raving about Alexandra’s evening attire. One particular theme stood out: they all loved seeing her unique taste in fashion.
“You look incredible,” one person wrote in the comments. “Absolutely stunning Alexandra 🤩😍❤️👏👏❤️,” another added. “Looking gorgeous 🔥🔥🔥🔥,” a different follower complimented.
Needless to say, she always makes a statement — even when it’s not for a project she’s currently working on. What’s more, she continues to show off her unique flair for Hollywood couture. She surprised folks by donning a see-through dress at the 2022 Emmy Awards, after wearing a similar black version to the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty earlier that year.
Well, if the actress ever wants to disclose her secrets for causing a fashion commotion, there’s no doubt we’ll all be paying attention.
