Maura was far from her usual self as she revealed she had lost ‘a stone’ in weight and was unable to shower after being struck down by an illness, on Thursday.
The model took to her Instagram Story as she explained she had been ‘in bed for three days’ and unable to shower.
Addressing her social media absence, Maura said: ‘This is the first time that I’ve been out of bed in I don’t know how long.
‘And if you’re wondering what the noise is, it’s a fan…because the sweat that’s protruding out of my body, I can’t even explain.
‘If I’ve not lost a stone from this illness, I’d be shocked.’
Laying in her bed, Maura put on a freshed-faced display as she poked fun at her unruly hairstyle.
She continued: ‘I don’t think I have ever been so unwell.’
The brunette beauty posted a photo of a bubble bath and added: ‘After three full days in bed, I finally have the energy to wash myself. (Disgusting I know).’
Maura then tucked into a bowl of cereal as she asked her followers: ‘For those of you who live on your own, what do you eat when you are too ill to cook? I’ve been living off cereal.’
